National Security Sciences Building
September 23,2014The NSSB was a Design Build delivery approach led by Hensel Phelps Construction. This eight story project is 274,750 SF and has approximately 700 occupants. It was conceived as a replacement to the SM43 Headquarters building for the Laboratory and is a central feature of the primary LANL campus in Technical Area Three (TA3). The occupants include LANL Laboratory Director’s office and support staff as well as scientists/weapons designers from X Division.
