Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies Gateway Facility

Los Alamos National Laboratory

Los Alamos, New Mexico

The CINT Gateway project is the second of two DOE Office of Science projects in New Mexico as part of the national initiative for nanoscale research. Its sister facility is the CINT Core project at Sandia National laboratories in Albuquerque. This 35,600 SF facility is being constructed as a Design Build delivery approach led by Hensel Phelps Construction. This building will contain nearly 11,000sf of synthesis and characterization laboratories which primarily focus on biosciences and nanomaterials. This project is a US Green Building Council LEED Certifiable building. Construction was completed in late fall of 2005.
